Final Preparations

It's been quite a while since we've updated the blog: Forgive us! It has been such a busy time and most of those who read this blog have received our bi-monthly letter anyway! :-) So for an update: We are leaving for PIBC, Guam, Lord willing, during the first week of August! We are 100% funded for our outgoing expenses, God has provided housing for us for our first year through the college at a facility adjacent to the grounds, and we have sold our home! Thanks and blessings to all of you for your many prayers, financial support, and encouraging emails and phone calls.

We are presently at the end of a one week trip to southern California to see family and friends before our departure and will be home by the time many folks read this. Although we are not 100% supported for our monthly needs, we will continue to trust God for our daily provision and feel led to continue to seek out further monthly support from the mission field. For those of you our "home" area, we will need a lot of help loading our container, so to anyone willing to sacrifice half or all of a Saturday, we'll have a "loading party" at our home on Saturday, July 28th . . . and we'll feed you!! :-)

Please pray for me (Melody), as Monday, July 16th, I will be having my gall bladder removed. Pray, too, for all of the faculty/staff members as they end home assignments and prepare to return to PIBC. Mostly, praise God with us for all His abundant blessings!
