Settling In

It is hard to believe that just five weeks ago we were packing and preparing to leave home, family and friends to work at PIBC on Guam. Well, we're here and settling in! The school year has begun and we are already getting into the rhythm of prep for classes, teaching, and grading for Melody, and repairs grounds-work, and helping students learn how to do some of the work for Tim. Tim says for every hour he works, he spends an hour shopping for the items he needs to do the work.
We are also actively seeking housing - either a small house or condo - and hope to find one soon. Pray that God would continue to bring others to be a part of our financial support team. We left the U.S. with 75% of the support we needed to be over here; rejoice and thank God with us that our support is now at about 80%.
We are honored and blessed to be here! Pray for our students as they grow and learn how to share the love of Christ with others here on Guam in their student ministries and in their home-island areas when they return. Pray that God would give them a hunger to learn, diligence in their studies, and servants' hearts as they minister. Pray for us to lean completely on God for the wisdom we need as we minister to the students. We'll post some photos soon! Blessings!
